And here we are since February, 2020. Our humble abode…for now. Our search for a place to remodel a house or design and build new continues. We now have downsized from 5700 sf to 2200 sf to 1600 sf. Our son was able to move into his own place so we emptied one of three storage units. The second unit emptied when I challenged my space planning talents and was able to empty it into our garage (and we can still park two cars in it) and into this new space. So, we are down to one storage unit that has all of our outdoor lawn equipment and tools in it. Oh yea, right now it stores the hard top to my Wrangler until the weather changes.

The dining area is now shared as an office space and a cozy place to read. Our living area is not the best…the upholstered pieces had to go to one end of the long room, and our large TV at the other so we don’t go blind. The bar stools are up against the recliner. And storage furniture is now used for MANY tasks and new tasks. It has been a challenge for an interior designer to be a lot more FUNCTIONAL then aesthetically pleasing for sure! BUT we have more privacy… the shared walls are a foot thick. No one is below us except for a storage space and the garage. The street is very quiet and my husband has started to walk and has lost weight. We know that this isn’t our forever space. We long for a house to renovate or a nice, manageable piece of land to build on.

But for now, this is where we have landed. This is where I have built Line&Edge and have become a member of the E-Design Tribe. So, life tends to work out that way. Life has it’s unexpected turns, and interruptions. But I am so very excited to have discovered E-Design! It is a great fit for me right now in my life and I don’t see it changing anytime soon.

I am proud to say that I have applied my creative skills to build my own website…with a little help from Tyler Richards on the company name and logo, and his beautiful and talented wife, Laura Richards on the “headshot”. I am focused on helping others make their spaces their own by providing professional interior design services based on decades of experience. Let us help you! Let’s go on this journey called life together!
