Owning a Jeep is a must!

First and foremost you must get caught up with our journey to date by reading Chapters 1-3. Trust me…it will be worth your time. People tend to think that a designer’s home is absolutely PERFECT. Well, with all of our resources at our fingertips and, gosh…we make a fortune so we can afford whatever our little hearts desire.

Ha! Hardly. We are a profession that must LOVE what we do. I for one enjoy the hunt for the perfect item: the perfect layout, the perfect paint color, the perfect flea market find, the perfect fabric, the perfect light fixture, etc. etc. Well, my husband and I have been on numerous blessed journeys for our entire married life of 33.5 years. Our recent journey was to find the PERFECT place to design and build our next home for our next season in our lives.

I think we found it folks! We always have talked about owning a piece of property with the PERFECT views, the PERFECT level of upkeep, the PERFECT level of nostalgia, the PERFECT level of privacy.

Remember, we have downsized from 5700 sf to 2200 sf to 1600 sf. And now our next home will be all on one level with a lot of character and less than 3000 sf. And remember our last storage unit? (Told you to get caught up with Chapters 1-3) It is now empty and off the payroll. We were able to move our last bit of outdoor items to our new storage “building”. More sneak peak details about that to come! And my hardtop to my Wrangler is on my jeep. The soft top is behind our large mirror in our Main Bedroom and the windows are under our bed.

I am sure that my E-Design Tribe folks and Jenna Gaidusek will tell me to use my process of designing and building as part of my marketing campaign for Line&Edge. And I am sure that I will on occasion. But I also enjoy my introverted enjoyment of privacy. So hang in there, I will throw out some teasers for sure, but will share much more with those who join our email list.
